Logger Fest 2026

May 15–17, 2026 | Fort Kent, Maine

The forests of northern Maine built this region. For generations, loggers, truckers, and woodsmen have worked these woods — shaping the economy, the culture, and the character of the St. John Valley. Logger Fest is how Fort Kent says thank you.

Three days. Two venues. One unforgettable celebration of the industry that built us.

The Heritage Behind Logger Fest

The logging industry isn't just part of northern Maine's economy — it is northern Maine. From the horse-drawn sleds that hauled timber through deep winter snow to the crews who rode logs down the St. John River in spring, the men and women of this industry shaped every aspect of life in the St. John Valley.

Maine is the most forested state in the nation. Nearly 90% of its land is covered by trees. That fact didn't happen by accident — it happened because generations of loggers, landowners, and forest workers managed these woods with skill, care, and pride.

Logger Fest exists to honor that legacy and the people who carry it forward today.
