PAWS Animal Welfare Society

PAWS Animal Welfare Society, Inc. is a nonprofit volunteer organization that rescues abandoned cats in Maine’s St John Valley and northern Aroostook County. The volunteers are committed to helping feral and homeless cats find their furever homes. PAWS also provides financial assistance to cat owners who need help getting their cats spayed/neutered through clinics, voucher programs and direct assistance.
Because they are a 100% volunteer organization, there are no office hours. You can view the current feline residents of the Valley Cat Haven on our website or Facebook page. If you would like to adopt a cat or donate supplies, money or your time, please contact PAWS to make an appointment to meet with one of othe volunteers.
