Acadian Archives Acadiennes

The Acadian Archives acadiennes collects, conserves and disseminates information about the Upper St. John River Valley, a 70-mile stretch of the St. John River running between the United States and Canada. In pursuing this mandate of cultural conservation, the Archives focuses particular attention on the Acadian and Franco-American history, language and culture.
Located between the Powell Building & Blake Library at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, the Archives maintains an art gallery, exhibition room, genealogy resources, books, historic documents, maps, photographs, microfilms, and oral stories/videos.
